About UARC

Strengthening Institutions. Advancing Sustainable Development.

Unilink Africa Resource Centre (UARC) is a pan-African knowledge, capacity building, and partnership institution dedicated to strengthening systems, institutions, and leadership across Africa.

UARC operates at the intersection of research, policy, capacity development, and ecosystem collaboration; supporting governments, development partners, and private sector actors to design and deliver sustainable development solutions.

Our Vision

To be Africa’s trusted partner in structuring and delivering sustainable, inclusive, and high-impact Public-Private Partnership projects that accelerate socio-economic transformation.

Our Mission

To support government-owned enterprises, and private investors across Africa by providing end-to-end Public-Private Partnership Advisory, project management, and transaction support services that enhance project bankability, value for money, and long-term sustainability.

Our Mandate

UARC’s mandate is to contribute to Africa’s long-term development by strengthening the institutional, governance, and human capacity foundations required for sustainable growth and inclusive outcomes.

We focus on enabling institutions to:

  • Design effective policies and programs
  • Strengthen governance and accountability systems
  • Build leadership and technical capacity
  • Collaborate effectively across sectors
  • Translate knowledge into action

UARC is not a project implementer by default.
We are a system enabler and delivery partner.

Our Institutional Positioning

UARC is a neutral, trusted intermediary within Africa’s development ecosystem.

We work:

  • Between policy and implementation
  • Between research and practice
  • Between public, private, and civil society actors

This positioning allows UARC to convene stakeholders, align incentives, and support coordinated action without being constrained by single-sector mandates.

Governance and Oversight

UARC is committed to strong governance, transparency, and accountability in all its operations.

Our governance framework is designed to:

  • Provide strategic direction and oversight
  • Ensure fiduciary and ethical responsibility
  • Uphold institutional independence and integrity
  • Strengthen decision-making and accountability

Governance Structures Include:

  • Board or Governing Council (strategic oversight)
  • Management Team (operational leadership)
  • Advisory committees (technical and strategic guidance)

We keep evolving our governance structures in line with best practices and partner expectations.

Leadership and Management

UARC is led by a team of professionals with experience across development practice, policy, capacity building, and institutional strengthening.

Our leadership brings:

  • Sector and regional experience
  • Strong delivery discipline
  • Commitment to ethical and results-driven work

  • Partnership and co-creation
  • Evidence-based decision-making

Our Commitment

UARC is committed to:

  • Responsible growth
  • Transparent impact reporting
  • Continuous learning and improvement
  • Ethical partnerships and delivery

We continue to strengthen governance, publish insights, and share lessons learned.
